August Presidential Message
We all wear many uniforms yet we are united in service above self

First month done and I’m so excited for August and beyond!
We had a great Club Service meeting on August 1. The focus was on our #1 goal: FELLOWSHIP FIRST. With shared photos of our recent trips and explorations, we saw photos in Taiwan (from the RI Convention), Idaho (Emily and Mike canoeing rapids). Brazil (Dawn with grandkids).
At the end of the month, it’s the first of our cooking fun as Elly in Netherlands shares her Kook Klub Skills with almond-flour “diabetic” friendly pancakes… ingredients below.
We also will have Philip Dyer from the UK give his expertise on public image and membership PLUS more of Elly, as she recalls her trip to Hiroshima as part of a Rotary Friendship Exchange trip to Japan.
Friendship and fellowship is our base… from there we create lasting impact with our service projects, financial support of the Rotary Foundation and our club, and doubling our impact as we welcome new members and guests.
Cheers!
